Contemporary Wedding Photographer

FAQs

I dont live locally, can I meet the photographer before the wedding?
Although we find it beneficial to meet with you several weeks before the wedding to get to know you and plan the wedding day photography with you, it is not always possible if you live far away. We can do most of the planning over the phone, and we like to attend the wedding rehearsal if you are happy to have us there. This gives us an opportunity to see the ceremony venue and meet you and some of your party before the wedding.
What happens if it rains?
Dont worry! We are more than happy to photograph indoors and there will almost certainly be great locations for photographs inside your chosen venue.
Can you save a date for us?
Unfortunately, we are unable to keep a date free for you without your deposit of £200.
How does payment work?
At the time of booking we will ask for a non-refundable deposit of £200, which will secure your chosen date. The remainder of the payment is due 8 weeks before the wedding (we will send you an invoice prior to this time). If you would prefer to spread out the cost, we are happy for you to pay the balance in installments, for which we will provide you with a payment schedule.
What if I have to cancel the wedding?
If you cancel before the 8 weeks leading up to the wedding, anything you have paid (excluding the £200 deposit) will be returned to you. If you cancel after this time you are liable for the balance. We strongly recommend that you take out wedding insurance which will cover you in the event of cancellation and give you peace of mind.
Who own the copyright / can we have a copy of the digital files?
As with all professional photographers, the copyright of all images we shoot remains with us. Copying our images in any way is an infringement of that copyright and even an inkjet print from your computer at home is actually breaking the law. The DVD presentation is included under this copyright, so please do not copy or print from it.
After two years we will offer you the opportunity to purchase the full set of digital files as well as the copyright of them for £500.
