How we work
Firstly, it's a good idea to check if we're available on your chosen date. Use the "Check Availability" form on the Bookings page of our website for a quick, no obligation answer.
After confirming that we're available on your date, please give us a call if you have any questions or would like to have an informal discussion about your plans. Once you have decided that you would like us to photograph your wedding, we would then ask you to sign an agreement (which is just to cover us both in the event of the unexpected) and pay a deposit of £200 to secure the booking.
Pre-wedding planning
As your wedding photographers, we will be keen to get to know a bit about you both and to make sure that we capture the photographs that you want from your wedding. So, we like to meet with you approximately 6-8 weeks before the wedding to discuss the details
(if you live far from us it is not always possible to meet, but we can easily make arrangements and discuss details over the phone). It is at this point that you would make any choices about your album or albums, and also pay the remaining balance.
Preparations
We find it very helpful to attend your rehearsal the day before the wedding, if you are happy to have us there. It is a good opportunity for us to get a good look at the ceremony venue and meet some of your party so we know who is who! (If you would rather we didn't attend, that's no problem - we will visit the venue at a different time.)
On the Day
On the day of the wedding, two photographers will be there to capture the day as it happens, with coverage usually starting during the preparations. We will take photographs throughout the day, until you begin to be seated for the wedding breakfast. If you would like us to continue to photograph into the reception for the speeches and first dance, we are happy to do so for an additional cost of £150.
Your Photographs
After the wedding, your proofs will be sent to you on a DVD within 2 weeks, and will also be available to view online if you choose. You will have up to 30 days to choose your photographs. Once you have made your choices, your album and any additional prints or products you have ordered will be ready within 3 weeks.
